Drive technology for servo presses

Our drive components set new standards in a servo press for the production of stamped and bent parts. The pressing force is generated by heavy-duty ball screw drives, which are driven by maintenance-free torque motors. Our heavy-duty crossed roller bearings are used to support and absorb the pressing forces. The hollow shaft rotors of the torque motors are bolted directly to the nut of the ball screw drive, creating a powerful, compact and high-performance drive train. The clear advantage compared to conventional presses with purely mechanical, hydraulic or pneumohydraulic drives: Force and speed can be controlled individually and with high precision over the entire pressing cycle. Achieve maximum quality and throughput - we have the optimum force and speed at all times to set new standards in pressing technology.

Requirements:

  • Forces and speeds can be individually controlled over the entire pressing cycle
